PARENTING CHILDREN WHO EXPERIENCING ANXIETY This 4-week course focuses on equipping parents with specific tools to help their children manage worries and fears. Children growing up in this generation have far more access to breaking news, adult-intended information, and current events than ever before. All children instinctively hold an egocentric view of the world, in that they view themselves at the center of everything they see happening around them. So when a child hears about a natural disaster or crime on the news, they process that information egocentrically. They automatically begin to consider how it affects or relates to their lives. An anxious child, often times quite gifted in critical thinking skills, will over-process the information and therefore inflate the level of threat it poses for them. This course provides parents with a guide and specific tools to help their children manage their fears, become more relaxed, and worry less. $500 / 4-week course / per parenting team Private Pay Only.
