I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Certified School Psychologist in Oklahoma. I have over 21 years of experience working with children and families in behavioral health care settings, psychiatric hospitals, pediatric clinics, and public schools. These diverse professional experiences have equipped me with a broad set of skills to assist parents as they navigate each of theses systems and advocate for their children.
My thorough evaluation report will provide you with a detailed description of the assessment results, diagnosis, and recommendations for your child. During the report review, I will offer you insight regarding the intellectual, adaptive, social, behavioral, and academic findings. I will also provide guidance on the next steps (I.e., accessing services, educational planning with your child’s school, reviewing the report with your pediatrician, etc).
I provide counseling services for children, adolescents, teens, and families. My therapeutic approach is data-informed and incorporates child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, unconditional positive regard, and mindfulness training.
