DEVELOPMENTAL EVALUATION

Your child reaches developmental milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. If you have concerns about your child’s rate of development, an evaluation will assist in identifying any areas of delay. Developmental Evaluations assess skills across the following developmental domains: 1. Cognitive (Pre-Academic) Skills 2. Adaptive (Self-care) Skills 3. Physical (Motor) Skills 4. Communication (Language) Skills 5. Social-Emotional (Play) Skills Our assessment procedures typically involve a parent interview, parent and teacher rating scales, developmental assessments, behavioral assessments, and play skills observations.
